Relief

Most people turn to their medical doctor for help. While there are certain medications that give some temporary relief, they can be unreliable and come with harmful side-effects. These medications treat the symptoms of migraines, but they do not look at the underlying cause.

Upper Cervical Chiropractic Care and Migraines

We understand that the way the spine is structured and the health of the central nervous system all play a vital role in whether or not a person may experience migraines. The upper cervical spine is at the top of the neck where the skull meets the vertebrae of the neck. The brainstem is also located in this area. If there is a misalignment in one of the top two vertebrae, they may be placing undue pressure on the brainstem and causing the symptoms of migraines. We have had special training in how to correct these misalignments. Once this is done, many of our patient’s report feeling much better. Their migraines become less intense and in a lot of cases, they go away completely.
