Migraines and multiple sclerosis (MS) have been connected in a number of studies that have been conducted. An interesting link was seen when looking for a common reason behind these two conditions. Not only a link but also a common resolution was noted that is having great success in helping these patients.

Dr. Raymond Damadian Reveals the Commonalities
Dr. Damadian conducted a number of studies that observed the brains of patients during an MRI (which he invented). He and his researchers were specifically looking at the flow of cerebrospinal fluid – a lubricant of the brain and spinal cord. He reported that biochemical barriers were the cause of multiple sclerosis and migraines. Even better news, he realized that these barriers could be reversed leading to a decrease in MS and migraine symptoms.
This means that if a misalignment exists in the upper bones of the neck, they may be placing undue pressure on the brainstem causing a problem with communication and blood flow to and from the brain and body. This leads to chemical changes in the brain that can cause MS and migraine symptoms. A common cause brings to mind the question of a common way of alleviating the problem. Is this possible?

Those suffering from these conditions due to an upper neck misalignment respond well to a specific type of chiropractic care called upper cervical chiropractic. This is a gentle method that is used to encourage the neck vertebrae to move back into proper alignment. It does not require popping or cracking of the spine but is a precise adjustment leading to natural realignment. Many patients in case studies have responded well, reporting an improvement in symptoms of both MS and migraines. Some have reported total remission.
